Water Hammer Preventation Valves

Hydraulic Control

Product Description

PRO-WHPV The water hammer prevention valve is a control valve that dampens the shocks occurring in the network and pumps without causing damage to the network or pumps, especially in long and sloping lines during power outages or malfunctions. With the low-pressure and high-pressure pilots located on the valves, it keeps itself closed within the set pressure range, and quickly opens when the set values are exceeded. Thus, it prevents damage to machinery and equipment on the network from sudden pressure increases due to shock, helping them operate efficiently and have a longer lifespan.

General Features

  • Body material ductile iron (EN GJS 400-15)
  • It prevents harmful effects caused by sudden pressure changes in hydraulic systems
  • Operates with network or line pressure without requiring extra energy
  • Not affected by changes in pressure and flow in the system
  • Low and high-pressure pilots in the valve reduce pressure loss and ensure smooth flow
  • It remains closed within the set pressure range and quickly opens when the values exceed it
  • Operating temperature for Water: -10ºC to +80ºC
  • Body coated with electrostatic epoxy powder paint (polyester optional)
  • Hydraulic connection made of Nylon (Copper or Stainless Steel optional)
  • Compact design ensures easy installation and use
  • Provides long-lasting and reliable performance thanks to its durable body
